LEE & GATHA JONES SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATION FOR FALL 2023 SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE NOW!
In December 2023, we will award one $1,500 scholarship in the name of Lee & Gatha Jones to one college students from Texas.
Who is eligible for a Lee & Gatha Jones Scholarship?
Applicants must have graduated from a high school in Texas. NOTE: Preference will be given to graduates from Galveston County, Texas, but all Texas graduates are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must be a college student - at least a second semester college freshman.
Applicants must have a GPA of at least 2.7 as shown by the most recent transcript. Unofficial transcripts accepted.
Application must be complete and received on time.
Applicants must provide a recent photo and allow Jones Legacy Foundation to use the photo in its materials.
How are Lee & Gatha Jones awardees chosen?
Applications are considered based on need and general quality. Preference is given to those who have displayed a commitment to their education and display a financial need.
